Annual Survey on the Status of Swiss Tackle Football

The 2026 Annual Survey is open
The SAFV annual survey for tackle football runs from today until 1 October. It takes about ten minutes, and you do not need to give your name.

Last year 236 of you filled it in. Those answers went into the Tackle Football Conference and helped shape what the clubs debated — thirteen rule changes were adopted for the 2026 season. That is the point of asking: it goes somewhere.

This year we are covering ground the last survey missed. Alongside the questions we are deliberately repeating, so we can see what has moved since 2025, there are new sections on officiating, what a season actually costs you, competitive balance and import rules, and who you think should be deciding the regulations in the first place.

It is for everyone in tackle football — players, coaches, team staff, officials, board members, and the families who make a season possible. Every league counts, from NLA to U16. One thing worth saying plainly: half of last year's responses came from NLA. If you are in NLB, NLC, U19 or U16, your answer carries more weight than you might think
